- Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1998
- Legal consultant at the Portuguese Business Association (AEP) and manager of its Unit for Industrial Property Promotion (GAPI), 1996 to 2006
- Consultant at JPC - J. Pereira da Cruz, SA, since 2006 till 2018.

- Consultant at Clarke Modet, unip. Lda since 2019 till October 2020.

- Currently preparing the Master's thesis on Trademarks at the University of Minho School of Law.

- Consultant at CPD - Centro Português de Design

- Official Industrial Property Agent since 2012
