Ever seen “Rules of attraction?”
Skipping my growing up in a different country and single mother raising me, here’s my last 6 years in this country… I got accepted into college and immediately got confused: I joined a fraternity, started a few clubs, changed my major more than my underwear, got lost in the career based college experience and then found my way out, was a feminist, misogynist, realist, dreamer, good guy and degenerate, girls hated, then loved me, then repeat and most proffesors became my friends (still never learned how to spell Professors w/o spellcheck). I worked for 3 TV stations including PBS and CBS, started my own business then applied to work at Jimmy Johns. I made lots of friends then lost them, made lots of brothers then left them, but somehow they all found me at the end of the tunnel. I traveled more per month than most will do in a lifetime; I finagled my way into $6k contracts in Las Vegas and shut down the Sapphire eating sugar of some legs. Met millionaires who made more, and lost more zeros in a month, than I had seen in my report cards. I traveled, then traveled some more; Amsterdam is prettier than just the brownies and red lights, did you know they have “real art there?” me neither, hash tag Rembrandt. Got lost in Heathrow and found again, London is a lot smaller than I expected. Came back home and nobody cared, my house, my car & my bike got vandalized. I still owe money to more people than I call friends and by my 6th year in school, I could hear Andy Dufrane whispering the word “institutionalized” in my ear….
My uncle promised life was better in the other side, you know? After graduation... So far lies, but the only thing that never disappointed me was looking at life through the viewfinder of a camera weather it was mine or not, my fear of heights disappears, my struggles feel like art and my goals look a lot closer at 70 to 200 millimeters… A little shaky without IS, but closer.
So why should you hire me? I’ve dabbled on experience a little bit…
