Marion Reed

I'm a a freelance writer with experience across the board, in fiction, poetry and non fiction. Since 2008, I've participated in National Novel Writing Month, a literary endeavor administered by the Office of Letters and Light, a non profit organization dedicated to literay programs for all ages. Beginning in 2010, I acted as the municipal liaison for the Connecticut shoreline region. I'm a member of the Shoreline Cluster of Poets in Connecticut. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, I earned her B.A. degree in art history in January of 2007. Since then, I have continued my education in the field of writing, taking classes and seminars with Writer’s Digest online workshops and the Long Ridge Writers’ Group. In addition to writing, I enjoy listening to and playing classical music, reading classical literature (particularly novels written by Jane Austen or Alexandre Dumas), horse back riding and martial arts.
