Mario Parmeggiani

I have always been passionate about food and cooking. Growing up in Italy, food is a huge part of my culture, and I consider myself a “foodie.” In addition to his love for food, I enjoy animals, gardening, and being in nature. After 15 years as a vegetarian, I turned to a vegan and raw food diet as I felt guilty eating any type of animal products. Becoming a vegan, raw food chef was the natural next step for me as it combined my enthusiasm for food, animals and the environment and allowed me to express my creativity. To receive the best education possible, I went to the United States to study at the Matthew Kennedy Academy. I believe food has the power to heal, and I am committed to living a healthy lifestyle. I have witnessed illness in those I love and believe medication is not the answer. I have traveled the world extensively and like to learn about other cultures through food. My goal is to continually expand and grow as a person and as a chef and help others and the planet using food. I specialize in natural plant-based, vegan and raw cuisine.
