Marios Kyriazis
gerontologist in London, United Kingdom
I am a Biomedical Gerontologist and Anti-Ageing Physician, currently interested in longevity and extreme human lifespans. My expertise includes any scientific aspects of ageing and longevity, with several books and nearly 1000 articles, lectures and interviews on healthy ageing. We have now founded the ELPIs Foundation for Indefinite Lifespans see www.elpisfil.org. I also founded the British Longevity Society see www.thebls.org.
I believe that the way to eliminate ageing and achieve an indefinite lifespans (radical life extension) is not through drugs, stem cells or genetic repairs, but through 'information' and adaptation to our hyper-technological environment. I promote the idea that if a significant section of humanity aggressively engages with technology and an hyper-connected society, then evolution will favourably select individual survival instead of survival of our DNA/species.
