Hiya, I am a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I'm passionate about science ranging from doing bench work in lab to kid's science outreach programs to the editorial and writing sides of science journalism. Recently, I've been interested in the licensing side of industry and have been working toward a certificate in entrepreneurship at U-M. You can find me on Twitter and LinkedIn.

As a researcher in the lab of Dr. James Moon, I work on nanodisc immunotherapies for various oncological conditions. We believe through our nanodisc platform we can teach the body to fight off cancer short- and long-term. We hope this research leads to meaningful therapies for cancers with dangerous or few current treatments.

My outreach usually deals with kids aged 5 to 14 and helping them get interested in and exposed to science early on. One of the programs I especially enjoy is Xplore Engineering, which is hosted by University of Michigan. But I'm hoping to expand that outreach to high school soon.

Although introverted, I enjoy meeting other researchers who are passionate about science and life. Additionally, I am interested in getting people in STEM more active in politics and social justice. Some hobbies also include cooking, art, and soccer (GGMU). You can email me at [email protected].
