Started in the aviation industry in 1994, worked sixteen years for an aircraft interiors and safety equipment manufacturer. Duties included design oversight, fabrication process oversight for new products, customer relationships, liaising with regulatory authorities, dealing with regulatory matters and ensuring adherence to aircraft component certification processes.

MISSION: To share insights from my experience in the aviation industry working with OEMs, airlines, manufacturers and the regulatory authorities. I write for passengers and general industry readers, especially those with non-technical backgrounds, so they can better understand the processes which help aviation take flight. I’m committed to clarity, transparency, and education, to ensure passenger safety and a positive travel experience.
