Marisa Hudlin is a Final Cut Pro video editor in the Multimedia Communications Master's program at the Academy of Art University.

As a graduate student, she has worked in producing, directing, editing, and motion graphics. Some of her most recent accomplishments are being one of the producers for the SF MOMA Modern Ball event, filming the Tart Collections Holiday Fashion Show as well as creating the graphics package for the show, shooting and editing a video for Big Brother Big Sisters and producing, directing and editing a video for St. Joseph's Family Center.

Receiving a BFA in Electronic Art, Marisa learned to use programs such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash as tools to create digital art and ultimately as a message. Her skills in these programs lead her to working in graphic design and marketing as a lead multimedia designer at the California State University, Chico’s AS Bookstore. This taught her how to create for clients and formulate creative ideas to be more effective as a source of communication.

During her time spent as an undergraduate, Marisa took advantage of many opportunities including doing a Multimedia internship in Italy which involved creating a multimedia art project for the small town of Reiti reflecting their culture and overall lifestyle.

Shortly after graduating, Marisa moved her life to Spain, where she learned how to speak Spanish as well taught English as a second language. She also became very involved in freelance work: designing part time for NO PAIN, updating the Summer camp blog for McGrogan's School of English, creating the advertisement for English Today Academy, and designing and coding the website for English Today Academy.
