Marisa Black

Marisa is an advocate for positive workplaces from her experience in diverse work environments ranging from corporate, government, non-profit, and academia. She applies strengths based coaching with emphasis on character strengths from the VIA Institute.

She is currently a non-profit facilitator and participates in on-going ICF training in positive psychology and behavior science. Marisa facilitates and trains on positive workplaces through The Five Languages of Appreciation at Work, and creates workshops on personal development and strengths maximization.

Founder of Positive Dishes, a movement and consulting, coaching, and training business that teaches positive psychology through food and culinary therapy! (Happiness, One Dish At A Time!) Marisa's aim is to help clients shape realistic goals while improving their resiliency and embracing change.
