Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in hospitality and Tourism Management (Nowadays) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).

Her areas of academic interest include international business and entrepreneurship or strategic business. Her research works on issues of entrepreneurship include studies of the behavior and Strategic Managing characteristics of the hotel director in Canary Island. She has also undertaken research into the different components that affect the business opportunity in crisis or volatile environment.

She heads the professional educational program as freelance in collaboration with Adecco Formation, University of Alfonso X "El Sabio", Cabildo de Gran Canaria and Mancomunidad del Norte de Las Palmas.

She has managed in Firmas as RIU HOTELS, ANFI RESORTS, PROIMTUR (UNESCO World Heritage), ADECCO RRHH, LEROY MERLIN and RACC
