Four years ago, I left my life of comfortability in Bartlett, Illinois -- a northwest suburb of Chicago. Since Fall 2012, I have found myself juggling the challenge of being a full-time student and trying to acknowledge my urge to explore (while also not trying to break the bank). I've learned more in my experiences in unfamiliar places than I think I have in my 120 credit hours at University of Colorado, and I'm not stopping now. I plan on moving to San Diego, CA to pursue my Master's degree in Nutritional Science next Fall, and hopefully find an adventure or two along the way. I'm a little unnerved by the thought of what is going to come next, however there is one thing that I am sure of at this point in my story -- I won't be turning back to the midwest anytime soon.
