Marisa Polgar

Possessing a diverse array of academic and practical experience, Marisa Polgar works as a natural resources specialist with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida in Naples, Florida. Since 2011, Marisa Polgar has worked to further the Conservancy’s efforts through research and interactions with local government.
Marisa Polgar began matriculating at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she successfully completed all of the necessary coursework required to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Environmental Principles and Practice. In recognition of her academic record, she graduated with a cum laude commendation. While there, she participated in the school’s study abroad program to expand her scholastic horizons at the John E. Dolibois European Center in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In addition to her studies, she served as academics editor for the Miami University yearbook.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Marisa Polgar began work as an environmental policy conservation associate with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, where she conducted a range of environmental research and attended various professional meetings related to her position.
