Marissa Castellano

Hey, I’m Marissa. I’m a student living in Toronto. My favourite subject is history by far. I am constantly searching for a better understanding of the world around me and history allows me to better understand how things came to be. I do not necessarily have a least favourite subject. As an athlete, I enjoy things that I excel in therefore if I am achieving a mark lower than my personal standard I have a negative connotation towards it. As far as English goes I am a very excited participant. I enjoy writing for the love of it. I struggle with essay writing because I find my tone becomes very forced. I am a competitive soccer player who practices and plays 5 times a week. I am also attempting to achieve a athletic scholarship to a university. I play all year round, my only month off is December for Christmas break. I have been offered international soccer opportunities and hope to explore a future in the sport. And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
