I am a mathematics PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research is in the area of geometric group theory, more specifically mapping class groups. I am currently being funded by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and a University of Illinois Graduate College Distinguished Fellowship.
