Marissa Mark

Hello!

My name is Marissa and I’m a Catholic educator living in Hamilton, Ontario. I graduated with a HBSc from the University of Toronto, with a minor in English, in 2016. As well, I completed the Concurrent Education program through the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education with Primary/Junior designations. I have since received qualifications in all grade levels.

For the past 3 school years I have worked as an occasional and long-term occasional teacher within my local board. I have had the opportunity to teach intermediate and senior mathematics as well as elementary grades long-term. This year, I became very familiar with the LMS online learning platform teaching grade 2. I also work as an online ESL tutor.

I am an avid reader with a passion for travel and education. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities and fitness. In the summer, I spend a lot of time at my family's cottage where these hobbies are thoroughly enjoyed.
