I’m a 23 year old girl making sense of an ever-changing world. I used to be serious. Now I just try to be funny because sometimes crying just won’t take us anywhere.

I love to write. I started writing poetry at 9 years old, and I started writing my own stories at 10 years old. Someone once told me that I was a writer because I write for the sake of writing. It’s how I express my thoughts and emotions. My love for language naturally comes with it, and I love dissecting language and its nature. I love to read. I love to talk. Most of all, I love the connection I make with people through words.

As a writer, a person with Bipolar I and ADHD, and an advocate for mental health, I frequently write about my personal experiences, mental health, and PWD rights in the Philippines. I also love to write about social causes, politics, language, everyday experiences–anything, really. Anything and everything. This might be why I’m both everywhere and nowhere.

I am an interdisciplinary individual with various interests on different topics. I am a Licensed Psychometrician working at a non-profit for persons with special needs and a development practitioner who has experience working with different communities in the Philippines including rural poor, urban poor, and indigenous groups. Nonetheless, I have interest in research, science, technology, and role-playing games. I read journal articles when I'm sad and spend many of my weekends playing RPGs.
