Marjorie Earl

I was born in Brisbane but came home to Cairns when i was two weeks old. I have lived here on and off ever since.

My family, however, have been in Far North Queensland since 1874 - two years longer than Cairns has been in existence. Earlville, Earl Street and Earl Hill are all named after my Great-great Uncle, Edward Campbell Earl.

I am passionate about FNQ history and have done a lot of research over the years - and taken thousands of photographs.

To ensure my research is not lost, I began Lost Cairns.
