I'm working with a broker on Prep & Serve, as I now own the patent and am searching for partnerships or investor financing. I'm excited about a new project that will be introduced in 2016, but shhh! It's under wraps!

My background is in art and graphic design. In the past I freelanced for Medtronic, Brown College, Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School, University of Minnesota and many smaller organizations creating marketing materials and more. This has been a great skill set for all other business endeavors.

In 2008, on a shoestring budget, I started Sail Away Cafe with my former husband, Oliver Weir. Now run by my daughter Lizz and Oliver, Sail Away provides scratch cooking, a full bar, and great live and local music every weekend.

I've found many realtors are inventors and entrepreneurs, as it can be the perfect job for creative and project oriented types. A licensed realtor since 2007, I'm often working with investors and first time buyers. What I love to do and am very good at - seeing what is possible. I love the rehab projects that I've been part of, and never tire of opening the door to just one more worn property and coming up with a plan to make it home again. My investors have done VERY well, consistently selling at the top of their market. I'm proud of the value we have added to the communities we have worked in. This deep knowledge of the rehab market has given me a lot of insight for first time buyers and resellers.
