Mark Alford is an international business executive with extremely strong global experience. Mark has spent +20 years in International Business positions with companies like BellSouth, Philips, Pandigital, and AT&T working in Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Mark speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and basic French.

International Leadership

Mark has extensive experience as a business builder and P&L manager in key growth areas. These areas include global sourcing, joint venturing, business development, client servicing, contracts, procurement, global distribution, consulting, and business models. He also has a strong background in building and establishing business strategy, client relations, and global enterprise management.

Prior to joining AT&T, Mark was a Vice President with DMC Worldwide, a privately held U.S. conglomerate of global companies (BellSouth Products, US Electronics, Xact, and Cocoon). At DMC, Mark was a senior executive working on assignments in the US, Europe and Latin America. Mark also specialized in new global ventures in Latin America and Europe, including initiating manufacturing and distribution operations in Brazil. He has worked in almost every country in Europe, Latin America, Canada and Japan.

Entrepreneurial Experience

Mark has led the creation of several new companies and product lines including: Consumer lines of Sirius and XM Satellite Radio products – first portable line of receivers, Harley-Davidson motorcycle mounts, including business ventures with Dish Satellite television, AT&T, Coca-Cola.

Mark is frequent speaker at Industry conferences and shows (CES, CTIA, GSM Barcelona) on the topics of Global Distribution, Client Services, Consumer Products and Business Development.

Education

Mark studied and earned his BA degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also studied internationally on scholarship. He has lived and worked throughout Europe and Latin America.
