1978...my father handed me his Rollieflex camera and said understand and use this camera to express yourself. When others had 35mm film cameras, I convinced myself that even though my camera was old and looked outdated, I would learn from famous photographers that shooting with a larger film plane, the images would come out much sharper especially with that 2.8 Zeiss lens.1980...Mark won the various awards for still life and silver medal for his contribution to the Los Angeles County Fair. His excitement into photography grew and soon saw opportunity in people photography. At the age of 21, his knowledge of cameras, lenses and film became an obsession to say the least. Mark couldn't get enough photography around him it seemed which pushed him into so many directions. He was photographing everything and soon landed his first paid deal...a Rock n' Roll album cover. From photographing movie stars to working with Ad Agencies, Mark's work has carved a niche into a wonderful collection of incredible pieces of art. His collection of photos is his way of saying thanks to all who have touched him through his lifetime. For over 20 years of taking pictures, I have taken little bits and pieces from places, people and events and molded those moments, teachings, and inspirations of my personal endeavors and created a visual movement.
