Mark Guirgis

Mark Guirgis currently serves as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Santeon Group, Inc., a publicly-traded software development and Agile Training and Transformation company based in Reston, VA. In this capacity, Mr. Guirgis has responsibility for all financial operations, reporting, treasury, SEC compliance and Investor Relations. In addition to his financial responsibilities, he oversees all internal and external legal matters, Human Resources and administration. Mr. Guirgis joined Santeon in July 2011. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Planning & Analysis and Corporate Treasurer at Primus Telecommunications Group, Incorporated from January 2003 to March 2011 and as Assistant Secretary of the Company from August 2003 to July 2009. In these capacities, Mr. Guirgis had responsibility for all business planning, mergers and acquisitions, global cash and risk management, general corporate development activities financial and industry analysis and capital markets transactions. Upon joining PRIMUS in 1998, he served as Director, Planning and Analysis and was responsible for corporate financial planning & analysis, both domestically and overseas. Prior to joining PRIMUS, Mr. Guirgis was Manager of Financial Planning in the Corporate Planning and Analysis group at MCI, where he worked from 1993 to 1998.

Aside from his professional career, Mr. Guirgis served as Treasurer and Trustee of St Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Fairfax, VA from 1998 to 2009 overseeing multiple expansionary capital projects, managing all banking and financing relationships and ensuring compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements. Mr. Guirgis maintains a steady level of philanthropic activity through one-on-one mentorships, regular volunteer events, directing the Youth Ministry at St Marks from 1998 to 2003 and the EMPOWER volunteer program in Fairfax County, VA.

Mr. Guirgis has a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
