London

I enjoy working at the intersection of policy, politics and economics. Currently, I am a Visiting Scholar at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, on leave from the Greater London Authority where I head the Mayor of London's Economic and Business Policy team . Previously, I have been a government adviser, working at the No10 Strategy Unit when Tony Blair was Prime Minister, a civil servant at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, and an academic, mostly at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics.

I am interested in astronomy and cosmology and the history of science. I follow Premier League Football (Arsenal FC) and try to spend time in parts of the world that have more annual sunshine hours than does London.
