Mark McCormack

I'm a huge rugby fan and have been fortunate enough to have already worked with several of the worlds biggest rugby tournaments. This has given me a great insight to many aspects of various business sectors which have shaped my interests in Sales, Marketing, Event Management, Communications and PR. I hope to find a career in one of those sectors once I've finished my degree and with the help of one or more successful internships I hope to excel in. I've previously worked in Customer Service in Dunnes Stores which I enjoyed greatly as it helped me expand my sales and people skills, problem solving capabilities and discipline in approach to difficult tasks.

I'm currently working as a Brand Ambassador for Verve Marketing with clients varying from Google, Diageo, Coca-Cola, Just Eat, Davy, Zurich, Unilever and many more companies of various sizes. I've been sent to Twickenham for 4 weekends to work on behalf of Guinness during the Autumn Series. I also spent 4 days in Zürich, Switzerland working on behalf of Google for their most recent Christmas party. And not to forget being fortunate enough to travel Ireland for Verves main impressive clients. I'm enjoying it greatly and perhaps hope to pursue a further career in this line of work in the future from making my way up.
