Mark Stevens was elected as a Commissioner in November 2010, and is the current Treasurer of ANC 3B. He lives with his wife Samantha and daughter Reagan in West Glover Park, DC. He is a strong advocate for education reform, promoting public safety, enhancing opportunities for sustainable & affordable living, and obtaining Statehood for The District of Columbia. Mark has a BBA in Finance from Kent State University, and will receive a MA in Communication later this year. He has served on the Executive Board of the Glover Park Citizens Association (GPCA), is a GPCA Delegate to the Federation of Citizens Associations, and a Delegate (Precinct 11) on the Ward 3 Democratic Committee. With the dedication and compassion to unselfishly serve others, particularly those in under-served and challenged communities, Mark has demonstrated his commitment to the District as a strong advocate for its citizens, especially the youth and seniors.
