I am Mark, a South Coast boy from Hampshire now residing in a leafy corner of London.

Professionally I help create engaging digital experiences at Guardian News & Media a leading global publisher of news to grow, deepen and retain audiences... think Mad Men 40 years later.

Personally? Music is a big passion, trying to catch the next big band in a small intimate venue. When not working digital, I am reading about it and trying all the latest (but not always greatest) technology.

I love to travel and experience new cultures, different people, ways of living and tasting local food when I get the chance. Asia is my continent of choice, having visited Vietnam (see background), Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia.
