I spent over 30 years thinking about the best architecture for enterprise applications and teaching people to write better code. Software I built for the radio industry — including Tapscan, the ratings analysis system that shaped the field for decades — is still in use today. I've been a Microsoft MVP since 2003, served as Microsoft Regional Director for the Southeast US, and co-created .NET Rocks, the first and longest-running podcast for developers. I spoke at Microsoft conferences worldwide and got to see over 20 countries along the way. These days I'm retired and focused on what matters most: painting, playing drums, and my health as a cancer survivor. Right now, I just might be playing drums. 🥁
