Mark Veldkamp

Mark Veldkamp is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in San Diego, California. He owns a private psychotherapy practice where he treats adolescents and adults struggling with issues of general anxiety, social anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and depression. Additionally, Mark provides expert consulting and training to schools, universities and organizations on violence prevention, crisis response services, risk management, and threat assessment. He worked at UCLA for 8 years, most recently as the Director of Case Management. In this role he developed the student behavioral intervention team and case management system to support at risk students.
