Mark Washington

Mark Washington Captain, Maersk Line. He oversees the operations of the ship. originally from Hayward, California, USA. Born in 1961.

Mark grew up an only child. He was also an only grandchild on both sides. Mark has a passion for developing strategies that drive business results and empower the organization for future success. He has a center of excellence philosophy with a curiosity for emerging trends and technology to drive innovation. Today, he's primarily focused on the supply of chemicals products to different companies. He was lucky enough to be awarded three employees of the month awards at his current job more than any other employee.

Education: Graduated with a Master Degree, 1990. Svendborg Navigations Skole. After graduating with a master degree, getting married and having a baby all within a year's time. He started as a second officer, he was soon promoted to the rank of Captain in Maersk Line from 2004-2011.
