I am an American journalist, writer, photographer and editor currently living in Hong Kong. I started my news career as a photographer using my father's 1960 Leica IIIG, which I still own and treasure. I have worked as a journalist in Yangon, Myanmar, the Middle East and the United States. In addition to writing and editing, I had to dust off my photojournalism skills for my former job in Myanmar, which just happens to offer some of the best photo opportunities in the world. When not working I take more pictures.
