Mark Apicella is an Emmy winner and five-time nominee for Producing and Editing Jay Leno’s Garage for NBC.com. He has directed and edited branded content distributed on the web and TV for numerous companies including New Balance, Speed Stick, National Geographic, Discovery, Tostitos, KFC, and many more. His work has been seen by millions online and broadcast internationally in over thirty countries.
His first feature screenplay, American Delinquent, ranked in the top 15% in the Nicholl Fellowship. He was awarded an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant For Science on Screen to produce his short Between Blood and Sand. His thesis film Salvation, Texas received five stars and was called "the gold standard for a student film" by the independent film review site Film Threat.
Mark earned an MFA in Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is currently developing several feature, television, and web projects.
