Mark Butler

Hi, I'm Mark. I'm an inactive U.S. Marine attending the University of North Texas to earn a degree in Computer Science. I've worked most of my life fixing computers and the networks that interconnect them. I've earned multiple certifications in the Information Technology field, and accolades for my leadership while on active duty. All that aside, I'm a problem solver, or a troubleshooter if you will. I don't need things spoon-fed to me from books, workshops, or seminars. I pick up intricate systems and designs quickly, and learn the ins and outs quickly enough to solve problems when they arise.

My value and self-worth aren't measured in the papers I have hanging above my desk; rather the systems and projects that I've left in a better condition after I have worked on them. I'm also very effective at conveying projects, problems, and solutions to persons outside my field of expertise.
