Mark Barclay

Preacher of Righteousness Pastor Mark Barclay leads the congregation of the Living Word Church in Midland, Michigan. Offering services for worship on Sunday morning, as well as Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., the Living Word Church also holds a service on Thursdays at 7 p.m. For parishioners that are out of the area, or interested in Mark Barclay’s ministry, the church offers a live video streaming from its website. Its national telecast reaches millions of people a week, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mark Barclay also serves as the President and founder of Supernatural Ministries Training Institute. By leading the Righteous Preachers' Network, Pastor Mark Barclay’s efforts have resulted in several hundred ministers calling him their pastor. He is known for his bold, emphatic preaching style and the strength of his convictions.

Led by his faith, Mark Barclay came to Midland after experiencing a vision from Jesus about spreading God’s Word in Michigan. From its humble beginnings in the “Hancock House,” a basement in a rental home , the Living Word Church grew steadily in numbers and now performs the ministry work of several large churches combined.

He is a former United States Marine and Vietnam veteran and uses his extensive training to prepare men and women for service in the Lord's army. He is also a graduate of the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California, and possesses a Bible degree from Berean Bible College in San Diego.

Teaching God’s word as a family, Pastor Mark Barclay joins his wife Vickie, daughter Dawn with her husband James and son Josh with his wife Trish in their efforts to serve the ministry full time.
