Kumasi, Ghana
I'm a co-founder at VOTO Mobile, an experiment in using mass voice communication to create feedback loops that help communities improve health, education, and the responsiveness of their governments. I work in Kumasi with a great team at the intersection of software development and human development.
Before moving to Ghana in 2012, I did a PhD in physics at the University of Saskatchewa, and learned a lot from helping teams build software for running experiments on particle accelerators and laser-powered space elevators.
My dream is for a world where everyone has an equal chance to be heard in building a just global society, and where we use technology to increase the quality of life of our great-great-grandchildren before ourselves.
