My background is focused on the integration of basic science and engineering in the fields of cancer biology and therapeutics. My previous works focused on identifying mechanisms on how first-line drug-resistant cancers develop cross-resistance to unrelated drugs associated with growth signals.
I am currently involved in a cancer biomarker study at Seoul National University and a member of the Bio-Network Analysis Laboratory at KAIST where I study fucosylation network in the tumour microenvironment and resistance to EGFR-TKIs.
