At the close of the spring 2016 semester, Mark Crosetto received a bachelor’s in occupational safety and health (OSH) management from Grand Valley State University (GVSU). He completed a one-year OSH internship with the GVSU facilities department, during which he performed indoor air quality tests and maintained National Fire Protection Association standards at buildings all over campus. During his time as an undergraduate, Mark Crosetto took to the mats for the wrestling team, in addition to maintaining active membership in the GVSU student chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Through his first two years in college, Mark Crosetto worked as an assistant technician for Quad Plus, an industrial automation company based in Joliet, Illinois. He handled field duties ranging from component delivery to car shredder system maintenance and gained experience in various technical skills, such as programming with a ladder logic language. Since the beginning of his last semester at GVSU, Mark Crosetto has served with Autodie LLC as an emergency health and safety intern. He works in conjunction with the safety and environmental pillar leads overseeing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ world-class manufacturing process to investigate workplace accidents and conduct benchmark testing.
