Mark Cruikshank

A registered Chartered Accountant with more than two decades of financial leadership experience, Mark Cruikshank received a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and finance from the University of New South Wales in 1998 and later completed a master of laws degree international taxation at the University of Sydney. He worked in management roles at PwC Australia and ING Australia before joining Macquarie Group in 2003. Mark Cruikshank served as managing director at Macquarie until 2013, at which point he was promoted to senior managing director.

Now functioning as the firm's chief financial officer for the Americas, Mark Cruikshank oversees a successful business operation spanning asset management, renewable and conventional energy, credit and debt capital, as well as commodities and agriculture. He also is a member of its Americas Management Committee.

Familiar with international markets, he has worked in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States since joining Macquarie. Now residing in Larchmont, New York, he enjoys running, cycling, skiing, and playing tennis in his free time. He also volunteers with his kids' soccer and baseball teams.
