A resident of New York City, Mark Crumpacker is an accomplished marketing executive with years of experience in developing strategies that drive results. Possessing a bachelor of fine arts in advertising and graphic design from the ArtCenter College of Design, Mark Crumpacker assumed his first executive role after college as the CEO of the interactive marketing and development firm Studio Archetype.
Under his leadership, Studio Archetype was acquired by the technology company Sapient in 1997. Subsequently, Mr. Crumpacker joined the leadership team of the technology consulting firm Sapient as vice president before taking on a role as the president and chief operating officer of PlanetOut Inc. In this role, he oversaw a venture-capital-backed media company focused on the aggregation of websites within the gay and lesbian media space. Mark Crumpacker gained further experience in the online media space as the CEO of Sequence, LLC, which he cofounded. Sequence provides marketing, advertising, and mobile app development services to major corporate clients such as Google, Apple, Chevron, and Best Buy. Sequence, LLC, was ultimately acquired by the Silicon Valley cloud computing company Salesforce.
Mostly recently, Mr. Crumpacker served as the chief marketing & strategy officer with the international restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill. He oversaw the corporation’s advertising and digital marketing strategies, as well as its real estate, construction, and design activities. During his time with the company, he also launched the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, a nonprofit that promotes sustainable agriculture in communities around the world. To date, the organization has contributed over $3 million to the cause.
