Mark Cunningham

I have been part of the founding team in four successful start-ups. After leaving university my brother Terry coaxed me to get involved with him in Crystal Services, a Vancouver start-up that developed a product called Crystal Reports. Crystal became the world’s first windows-based reporting tool and went on to employ over 2000 people.Crystal went through a number of acquisitions by Seagate, then Business Objects and finally SAP. Since Crystal I have started: Symmetrics - a leader in contact center productivity software, Symmetrics Pro Cycling Team - North and South America’s #1 Professional cycling team and Indicee – a simple, low cost collaborative reporting and analysis platform in the cloud. Indicee was acquired by Dun & Bradstreet in April 2014. I am now the Founder & CEO of the Dun & Bradstreet Cloud Innovation Center based in Vancouver. I studied seismic design (earthquake stuff!) in the School of Engineering at the University of British Columbia. My personal passions are diverse and they include air-cooled Porsches, vintage American cars, flying airplanes, playing guitar, road cycling or mountain biking, surfing and kitesurfing. I did punish myself by racing in the Hawaiian Ironman twice but I finally settled on competitive road cycling as my main endurance sport. I competed with Symmetrics Pro Cycling for six years as a wanna-be domestique.
