Mark de Boer

As from february 2010, Mark de Boer is Head Concern Communication Rotterdam. In this capacity, he manages the Public Relations / Communications sector of the City of Rotterdam (The Netherlands). The main communication department of the city is responseble for Public Relations management, the disclosure of government information, signaling, research, trendwatching, marketing, risk- and crisiscommunication. Concern Communication sets the standards on, and takes care for the implementation of Public Relation / Communication policy towards the serveral units under the city’s board of directors. Also he advises the mayor and aldermen of Rotterdam on matters concerning the profile of the municipal executive, the city or bigger incidents (political or otherwise) during the executive's meetings and outside them.
