Mark Giglio

Mark Giglio is a writer, artist and award winning furniture maker living in San Diego County, California. He is a father of three boys, a grandfather to Lily and Jaxon, and a great grandfather to grandson Zayden. His education in creative writing and lifelong interest in history, culture, religions and mysticism bring him to writing the Alchemist book series and the short story series “Triptych.” Each “Triptych” includes three short stories with a paranormal, horror, or science fiction twist. Some are romantic, some inspiring, some funny; and some are ‘Oh My God’. “A Glimpse of Eternity” from Volume One is a short story for the romantics who have an interest in the paranormal. Volume One of the “Triptych Series” also includes the stories “Old Nick,” and “Robbie’s APP” and is currently available on Amazon. For the next “Triptych Series," Mark has finished the first short story, a romping and hilarious horror story reflecting on the irony of thoughtless words. "Alchemist Gift" is the first novel in the Alchemist book series. It began as a screenplay but the characters demanded more and so the Alchemist Series was born. Mark is currently writing the second book, “Curious Journey” that continues the spiritual journeys of the characters from our time and the Renaissance as they experience and make history in their times. The culture, religion, magic and science form the backdrop for the characters’ stories.
