Mark Duffield-Thomas, author of Win-Win Sponsorship, manages sponsorship and corporate sales for the Hunter Sports Group (Newcastle Knights & Newcastle Jets). With football, rugby league and corporate experience across sponsorship, sales, brand management and social media, Mark is one of Australia’s leading sports administrators.
In 2010, Mark and his wife Denise travelled the world as The Honeymoon Testers after competing against 30,000 applicants to win ‘The Ultimate Job in the World’ competition.
From 2008-10 Mark led sponsorship strategy, research and operations for Manchester United Football Club where he gained unique experience in valuing, structuring and selling the world’s largest and most high profile sponsorship deals.
Before joining Man Utd, Mark held several marketing and sales positions at GlaxoSmithKline. In 2005 Mark was National President of AIESEC UK, a global student organisation.
Mark holds a first class honours degree in Management, Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a qualified football coach.
