Mark Durrant

I am vice president of marketing and communications for Avanci, an independent leader in transforming how technologies are shared, through market-driven licensing platforms for essential patents.

Before joining Avanci in 2020, I spent more than 12 years in the Nokia communications team, latterly leading communications for Nokia Technologies, the business which manages patent, technology and brand licensing for Nokia.

Prior to Nokia, I held a number of sales, marketing and communications management roles with Motorola, Digital and IBM.

I have an MBA from the University of South Wales and am a member and accredited practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
