I've been writing and designing since the last days of disco. Maybe that makes me irrelevant. Maybe it makes me an old snake-hipped louche with a bucket of impossible stories.

All I know is that when you combine words and images that say something - not jargon or hink - then you've got a powerful gumbo. I love my work - even though my best work has never been made.

Some of my best work was as a telephone crisis counsellor. Doing this work, I learnt a heap of useful skills and techniques to help people get out of crisis.
