Market Boxx Community Stores
We all understand the best and least expensive way to fight hunger and health related diseases in some of Milwaukee's most financially vulnerable neighborhoods, is by eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Our solution to that challenge is called, "The Market Boxx" Community Store.
In 2013, the Market Boxx Community Store project will build the first of 40 Market Boxx Community Stores in Milwaukee neighborhoods.
Volunteer and be a part of the vision! Working with the public and our partners, the goal is to build new stores then sell, lease or donate newly built and fully furnished stores that are ready to open.
Each new Market Boxx Community Store will create 12-15 new jobs and become a new annual source of revenue for their non-profit owner.
