Hey and welcome to my blog!

I’m Aisha. I graduated in 2011 from the University of Surrey with a 1st Class in BSc (Hons) Business Management and I’m graduating in December from the University of Manchester with a Distinction in MSc Marketing. Now I work in the Union of a University as a Marketing and Communications assistant and I love it. It presents me with different challenges and opportunities daily.

This blog came about as a result of my passion for marketing. After finishing my Masters in September I really missed being able to write about a range of marketing related topics regularly. That’s when I decided that a blog would be a perfect way for me to be able to continue writing about my beloved marketing whilst at the same time keeping up to date with the industry (added bonus!). I also hope that through this blog, I will grow and further develop my range of skills.

Some of the marketing topics that I will discuss in my blog will include; international marketing, branding and the social media/e-marketing as these are areas that I have a particular interest in. I will also talk about things related to my work and share ideas and thoughts with you all. Watch the space for all that and more!

There were times during my Masters when I felt like pulling out my own hair (it was super intense!) but despite this I really enjoyed it and it was definitely worth all of the hard work! I would be happy to offer essay and exam tips and guidance (no, not doing it for you, just tips on what makes a good essay/exam answer) for people on undergraduate and postgraduate academic marketing courses.
