Mark Figert

Starting his career with the Citadel Group in Chicago before eventually becoming the company’s Senior Vice President, Mark Figert was once the district manager for MCI in Springfield, MO after graduating with finance degree from Missouri State University.

Mark has a strong background in driving business growth; building high performance teams; cultivating excellent client relationships; and the competitive positioning of a brand.

With his sharp business acumen, he is able to find solutions to issues plaguing various companies and initiate much needed changes which result in improvement. He believes that by understanding the needs of customers and starting solutions which are of value to both parties, there will be increased loyalty and satisfaction.

Mark has a proven ability to assess a company’s business process; develop procedures that will make these processes efficient; curb costs; increase revenue; and help the business grow.

After starting his family with his wife Christie, Mark was offered a senior position with a residential lending company in St. Louis. He then co-founded Fidelity Bancorp with two other people. From its humble beginnings, the company worked its way up to become one of St. Louis’ “Best Places to Work”. The award is a testament to Mark Figerts vision and passion.

After selling Fidelity Bancorp to a community bank in 2012, he continued to run the company as its President until August 2014. He still continues to consult in the banking industry and is serving as the President of The Optima Group, which is a financial management consulting company.

He has also served on the Board of Directors of Children of the World Charity and Crestwood/Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce.

Aside from spending his time thinking and formulating ways to develop a company’s processes and help improve it, Mark also likes spending time with his family in various outdoor activities.
