Mark has lived and worked in UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia which has given him a deep understanding of different cultures, customs and industry sectors.

After enjoying an international career in senior executive positions with major international companies such as Inter Continental Hotels & Resorts, ICI and Inchcape PLC in the Europe, USA and Asia Pacific regions. He then decided to base himself in Hong Kong and in 2000 became owner and Chief Executive of Asianet Consultants, a leading executive search consultancy in the Asia Pacific region with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. He later added a sister company TRIG which builds talent pools and helps companies benchmark their succession plans

Mark is also the Founder and President of the International Executive Search Federation. IESF has 130 offices in 40 countries and is one of the world's largest executive search networks.

Mark holds a Degree in Business Administration, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Institute of Directors. He is a regular speaker on Doing Business in China

He is a keen jogger in Asia's country parks and jungles, reader of detective novels and drinker of champagne
