An ink-stained wretch from Alaska, Upstate New York and parts in-between. My latest chapter: Editor-in-Chief of "585" Greater Rochester's City-Regional Magazine. My wife Jasmin and I have three kids -- Clara Jane, Eliza and Milo -- who keep me busy in the evenings and through the night, when I'm not writing, soothing correspondents, scrounging photos, and putting out fires. My oldest daughter Miryam lives in Chapel Hill, NC.
