Markita Prescott
Markita Prescott was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a child Markita started modeling for Child Magazine, Good Morning America, JC Penny and soon earned a guest appearance alongside Raven Symone on the hit TV program, "The Cosby Show." With her infectious laugh and rich personality, she worked on numerous jingles, voice-overs, and television commercials. Her stage debut was Off-Broadway at the UBU Repertory Theater as, "Nesilili," in The Orphanage directed by Françoise Kourilsky (alongside actor Chad L. Coleman.)
Yet her Proudest moment to date was being hand picked by Michael Jackson to meet and record with him at the Hit Factory on his HIStory Album. Her vocals can be found on the track, "Little Susie."
She attended Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, graduating with her M.F.A. in Acting. At Rutgers, she was the last class to graduate under the mentorship of the late Israel Hicks.
