Mr. B's Orchestra Boot Camp

Sharing the orchestral experience with young musicians, Mark Barnard has created Mr. B’s Orchestra Boot Camp, an inspiring performance workshop for school and youth orchestras. Mr. B’s sessions address ensemble skills, team building, effective rehearsals and strategies for practice, auditions and competitions that help student musicians and orchestras achieve higher levels of performance. A graduate of the USC Thornton School of Music, the New England Conservatory, Mark Barnard has presented at state, regional and national conferences. In addition to studying and performing as an orchestra musician under many renowned conductors including Leonard Bernstein, Herbert Blomstedt, Howard Hanson, and Michael Tilson Thomas, Mark Barnard served on the artistic and administrative team with MTT that launched the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy.
